Intel's Virtuaization Technology (VT) was generatelly not enable on Sony portables at this time. It can be enabled by some NVRAM poking, however, to our suprise this VGN-SZ2M apparently sports a T2300E CPU which only differs to the regular T2300 CPU by having no VT silicon at all. The cpuid apparently does not reflect the E moniker in the identifier string!
