00:51 < cgetty> I did this about a year ago, saw t2 on distrowatch. At the time I was using Gentoo, coming from the world of windoze (still sooo green on linux). Only slightly scanning the quick install & the quick build instructions, everything worked the FIRST time with out a hitch. I said to myself "self you did good, come back in a while & look at t2 more closely. well here I am :-)

21:37 < cgetty> It seems that the magazine would have at least two groups in mind. One would be manufacturers of equipment that could be working with the T2 as a base.
21:37 < cgetty> Another group could be users of such equipment(like me). For example we maintain the kwh meters for the city I live in. Back in the day meters were mechanical, these days they are solid state (small computers). It would be nice if I could have our meters be like computers, buy them & program them as you wish. How practical is that? I'm not sure, its just something I would like to see (I think it coming).
21:37 < cgetty> Just this morning I was talking to a vendor telling that I have some of the first  solid state hybrid that come out in 1989, they work fine, the only reason they are going in the trash today is that the software to program the is obsolete. If they had something like t2 as a base would that be the case?
