11:00 < rob_w|laptop> hi
11:00 < rob_w|laptop> does T2 support glibc for avr32 ?
11:04 < rob_w|laptop> hello ?
11:09 < sepp_> hello
11:09 < sepp_> sorry, no clue about avr32, wait for rxr
11:11 < rxr> no
11:11 < rxr> only uclibc for avr32 and blackfin
11:11 < rob_w|laptop> i see, otherwise it would have wondered me
11:11 < rxr> you could, however, port glibc to avr32 if you see a value in that :_)
11:11 < rob_w|laptop> thanks
11:11 < rxr> I hope the glibc package is correctly flaged not to support avr32
11:12 < rob_w|laptop> well i see a value as avr32 does have a mmu and i though uclibc was mainly for mmu less units
11:13 < rob_w|laptop> it would then make my live easier to use full gtk and not that directfb-gtk crap
11:17 < rxr> no
11:17 < rxr> uclibc is intended for both
11:17 < rxr> it is just a smaller c lirbary
11:17 < rxr> you have all MMU protection features on AVR32, or other CPUs (SuperH, PPC, x86, etc.) when using uclibc
11:18 < rxr> in fact that has nothing todo with the C library but already provided by the Linux kernel ...
11:21 < rob_w|laptop> hmm
11:21 < rob_w|laptop> so maybe i just try to get my gtk env up with uclibc
11:21 < rob_w|laptop> thanks for that anyway ,
12:25 < rxr> uclibc is quite friendly
12:25 < rxr> most stuf usually ust works
12:25 < rxr> dietlibc is way more smaller and thus "feature-less" - so sometimes requires more adaptions
12:26 < rxr> usually code just compiles with uclibc
12:27 < rob_w|laptop> hmm
12:27 < rob_w|laptop> sounds promising
