20:05 < seb_> hello :)
20:08 -!- seb_ [~seb@port-92-195-31-79.dynamic.qsc.de] has quit [Quit: leaving]
20:10 -!- sepp_ [~seb@port-92-195-31-79.dynamic.qsc.de] has joined #t2
20:13 < sepp_> i did a sort of minimal build and it mostly went ok, have you tested (c,c++)llvm? i read freebsd uses it now
20:16 -!- sepp_ is now known as sepp
20:19 < sepp> llvm seems to be very interesting, together with http://etoileos.com/ ...
20:20 < rxr> I think I packed etoile some years ago
20:20 < rxr> http://www.t2-project.org/packages/etoile.html
20:20 < rxr> but back then it was not so usable
20:20 < rxr> the screenshots looked superb, but all the stuff was broken and screen glitching all around
20:20 < sepp> but i like the idea/vision ...
20:21 < rxr> yep
20:21 < rxr> though initially it was intended to be a mac cocoa clone for gnustep, ...
20:21 < rxr> 0.4.1, looks our package could get some update
20:23 < sepp> they say that it is not useable right now, i just that that they might have a mission to clean the mess ...
20:23 < sepp> and it sounds interesting
20:23 < rxr> definetly
20:24 < rxr> damnit always getting so late, I really should leave for some dinner soonish
20:25 < sepp> i am rather unhappy with the desktop mess i have atm
20:25 < sepp> guten hunger :)
20:27 < rxr> well, still here :-)
20:27 < rxr> but should go ...
20:27 < sepp> i was in the lib 2 weeks ago and i found 2 old be-os books, i played some more with haiku, that was fun
20:28 < sepp> like it was designed and someone had a vision, unlike oss chaos evolution
20:29 < sepp> but sometimes it is really 199x
20:31 < rxr> I was BeOS even benig displayed at the CeBIT, back some decade ago :-)
20:31 < rxr> dragged some running video onto some book surface thing with non-linear transform and all running smothly on some late 486 or early pentium or what it was
20:32 < sepp> that makes me sad
20:34 < rxr> of course the video was some 320x240 or so back in the days
20:34 < sepp> i used r5 for some time - on an 100mhz pestilentium, and it was quite nice
20:35 < rxr> I also nearly once brought BeOS in a book stor when I was trainee
20:35 < sepp> the filesystem book is really good
20:35 < rxr> however, the X reference docu already was so expensive that I thought about it many time and finally did not to save some hard earned money, ...
20:36 < rxr> ok - gotta finally go - cu then, have fun, patches welcome !
20:36 < rxr> http://www.t2-project.org/packages/etoile.html
20:36 < sepp> sure, but i forgot my account details :/
20:36 < rxr> heh
20:36 < sepp> but we will manage that later
20:36 < rxr> I can inject a new hash
20:37 < rxr> if you already want you can send em an apache compatible formated hash
20:37 < rxr> htpasswd or what it was
20:37 < sepp> i will,m
20:37 < sepp> have fun at the meal
20:42 < sepp> i also would want to add a few lisp packages and i would vote to move all lispy/schemey pkgs into a lisp category
20:43 < sepp> much like ruby or what not
20:48 < sepp> adding sbcl at least for x86* amd64* would be easy
