23:01 < eng500> hello everybody! just found out about T2 on distrowatch
23:01 < eng500> I'm starting to get annoyed with stable things breaking in Gentoo (I don't have that much time to look for fixes) so I'm looking into other alternatives
23:02 < eng500> I'm looking for a source-based distribution and so far FreeBSD looks like the most promising
23:03 < eng500> but I would like to make sure there's nothing in the GNU/Linux world (appart from Gentoo and derivates) that offers source-based packages and stability
23:04 < eng500> so, how does T2 fair in terms of stability?
23:05 < eng500> also, how often are packages updated in case of CVEs (I think security is also important, besides stability)?
23:06 < eng500> ... that being said, is it wise to consider T2 as a desktop, day-to-day distribution?
